Who we are
This privacy policy explains how Global Info Edge ("we", "us"), operating the CK Mehta Digital brand at ckmehta.com, collects and uses personal data. We are the data fiduciary for the information described here. If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise any right described below, contact us using the details at the end of this page.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, request an audit, book a call, register for a roundtable or join the membership, we collect the details you type into the form. Depending on the form, that includes your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, website, role, city, country, indicative budget and timeline, and any message you write.
We also record technical and source information automatically when you submit a form: your IP address, browser user-agent string, the page you submitted from, and marketing attribution parameters (such as UTM tags and referrer) that tell us which campaign brought you to us.
If you pay for a membership or service, payment is processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the associated billing details, but we do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare for and hold the call or audit you asked for, deliver the service or membership you purchased, send you follow-ups and marketing communications about our services, and to understand which marketing channels work so we can spend our budget sensibly.
We process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, and to perform the contract you enter into when you buy a service or membership. Where we send marketing to existing clients, we do so on the basis of our legitimate business interest, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
We do share it with the service providers we use to run our business: email delivery and marketing platforms, CRM and lead-notification tools, calendar and scheduling providers, analytics providers, our payment gateway, and our hosting provider. These providers process the data on our instructions and only to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on platforms including Google and Meta. Where we use their measurement tools, those platforms may set cookies or receive event data about actions you take on our site, such as submitting an enquiry, so we can measure which campaigns generate business and show relevant ads.
You can control ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client data for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need it to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed for any of those purposes, we delete it or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete, ask us to delete it, and withdraw a consent you previously gave. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
To make any of these requests, email us using the address below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including transport encryption and access controls on the systems that hold enquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated at the top.
